This piece of wall, acquired by the City of Courbevoie and the Epad, was part of the 250 segments of the Berlin Wall put up for auction.

Covered with period tags and graffiti, this piece of wall is a testimony to the dark history of the capital of Germany from the end of the Second World War until 1989. It is 20 m long, 3.20 m high and 20 cm thick. This piece of wall has been located in front of the Galerie de la Coupole since 1996. A wall and glass panels on which are inscribed the names of a hundred major European cities are set against this fragment. A symbol of reunification.
