InDéfense in figures:

  • 10,000 sq. m of office space
  • 250 sq. m of retail space
  • 7 floors
  • 180 indoor parking spaces
  • 28 parking spaces for two-wheelers

InDéfense is located in the immediate vicinity of La Défense, in Nanterre. Its location represents a great opportunity to strengthen synergies with the VINCI Group and L'Archipel, its head office.

Designed by Danish architects 3XN, the InDéfense building can be recognised by its contemporary geometric facades alternating glazed sections and bronze-tinted metal cassettes, its cantilevers and its varied depths. The main materials chosen are aluminium and glass, in a variety of colours and finishes. The façades of the main hall are entirely glazed to let in natural light on the landings on all floors. The lobby is enhanced by a monumental staircase, the backbone of the building, serving all levels from ground to 7th floor.

A word about the architect

3XN is a Danish architectural practice responsible for the Palais des Congrès in Nîmes, the Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney and the courthouse in Holstebro. They have won several architectural competitions for the Architects' House in Copenhagen, the Ebeltoft Glass Museum, the Danish Embassy in Berlin (1998) and the Muziekgebouw concert hall in Amsterdam. These last two structures have made a name for themselves on the international architectural scene thanks to their social approach and carefully planned spatial formations.

SRA Architectes is a French architectural practice that has completed a number of major projects, including the First Tower, La Samaritaine, the Maison de la Radio and the Ilot Gaité in Montparnasse. It is also behind a number of projects at La Défense, including the Alto tower, Carpe Diem, Window, the Légende tower and the Areva tower.
